The North Somerset Nappy Alliance was established in 2008 to bring together everyone who is interested in promoting washable nappies. Our aim is to bring the truth about washable nappies to North Somerset parents, educating and spreading enthusiasm.
We offer friendly and realistic advice and support, helping parents to choose the right nappies and advise on how they can be used right up to potty training.

Members of the Alliance include parents, the Council, real nappy sellers and laundry services, health care professionals and environmental groups.
The Alliance is a central base from which we can offer information, share experiences, support parents and offer impartial advice.
We have recently launched a trial set of hire kits, which are available to hire in the Weston-super-Mare area for 2 weeks completely free. We think that hire kits and support from the Alliance are a better way of trying real nappies for the first time than offering incentives.
